Terms and Condition

The Terms and Conditions regulate the terms and conditions between Sunday Safaris Ltd.  (hereafter referred to as "Company") and you (hereafter referred to as "Client").



Bookings and the following contract become legally binding in Arusha / Tanzania. Therefore apply the regulations and laws of the Democratic Republic of Tanzania.



Bookings can only be accepted to persons who are under 18 years of age when accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for them.



Upon acceptance of the offered travel 40% deposit is payable by the client, the booking is approved after incoming payments. The deposit is a part of the total amount for the travel payments.

The final payment of 60 % is payable no later than 45 days prior to departure. If the payment does not receive the account of Sunday Safaris Ltd., the company reserves the right to cancel the trip and keep the deposit withheld.

Booking, made within a time limit less than 45 days before departure, the total cost of the trip must be paid upon booking. Sunday Safaris Ltd. can't guarantee the agreed itinerary and price if payment is not made according to these conditions.



If the client requests a modification of the consisting booking (for example modification of the trip events, reclassified flight tickets, modification of accommodation, edited number of the subscriber etc.) he must keep in touch with Sunday Safaris Ltd. in time. In this case a booking transfer fee of 50 € is calculated.



Any cancellation must be given in writing (emails are allowed) to Sunday Safaris Ltd. Your cancellation will be effected from the day Sunday Safaris Ltd. acknowledges receipt of your cancellation notice. In case of cancellation Sunday Safaris Ltd. reserves the right to keep the deposit as cancellation fee charge withhold.

The client is subject to a cancellation fees as follows:

Cancellations done 46 days and more before departure – 30% of the total amount will be charged.

Cancellations done between 15 and 45 days before departure – 50% of the total amount will be charged.

Cancellations done between 14 and 7 days before departure – 80% of the total amount will be charged.

Cancellations done under 7 days before departure – 100% of the total amount will be charged.

Sunday Safaris Ltd. reserves the right, to cancel the trip one-sided for special reasons in absolute exceptional cases (natural disaster, safety in mind etc.). In such a case the company will refund the deposit completely and immediately. This is the single financial commitment of the company. Sunday Safaris Ltd. accepts no liability for lost joy of vacation, losses or costs incurred, claims or expenditures which result of this cancellation.



Clients are responsible for obtaining passport, visas and health certificates.

The company bears no responsibility for which follow, damage or claims, if the client doesn't comply with regulations and procured the required travel documents not in time.



It is strongly recommended to have a travel insurance that includes medical and cancellation cover.

Sunday Safaris Ltd. does not offer insurance cover.



Sunday Safaris Ltd. shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to luggage.

The clients are requested, to bring no excess baggage within. In this case Sunday Safaris Ltd. reserves the right, to refuse transportation.



Client's bookings are accepted on the understanding that the client appreciates the possible risks in travel, in particular when undertaking adventurous activities such as trekking, walking safari, diving and boat safari. You will be asked to sign a disclaimer form before you participate in certain activities.

Sunday Safaris Ltd. and their service providers aren't held responsible to injury of any kind, the death from traveling clients or damage to property for whatever reasons it happens. The client is committed, to renounce of claims to the company.



Sunday Safaris Ltd. undertakes to run the safari at the agreed itinerary and price. If a client becomes sick or unwell after departure, no refund will be given.


Decisions of the guide are authoritative and finally. The client keeps it for his own safety well as regulations and laws of the visited countries.



Sunday Safaris Ltd. is not liable in case of force majeure, for example war, technical and mechanical breakdowns, bad weather, occurring unrest and unpredictable events, which are out of control of the company. This can be achieved to delay or modification and run the course of the trip.



In case of major breakdown and if it is impossible to repair the vehicle, Sunday Safaris Ltd. will order a replacement vehicle to allow the safari to continue.



In the unlikely case of accommodation is not available, Sunday Safaris Ltd. will make every possible effort to provide alternative accommodation at least equivalent.



Our offer shall apply with current fees and taxes. If the national parks or the government increase prices of fees and taxes, the client will take over.



The tour begins with the transfer from the airport and it ends with the transfer to the airport on the agreed dates. In case of delay at the airport for your international or domestic flight, arrangement for meals, overnight accommodation etc. should be made by your airline, not by Sunday Safaris Ltd.
